Police uncover extraordinary collection of rare Lego pieces

Police in Australia have arrested a man over the alleged theft of more than A$250,000 ($167,000) of Lego and other toys from a homeowner in Sydney. The man, who has been charged with larceny, was reportedly seen on CCTV at the property on August 22.

After receiving complaints from residents, police attended the home in Epping and discovered the man inside, possessing several bags of stolen goods. Officers subsequently obtained a search warrant and recovered thousands of Lego bricks, including rare and unique pieces, valued at A$250,000 from the man's home.

The man was denied bail and appeared at a local court on September 1.
