The statement also claims that Trump and Epstein had a dinner together at the White House the night before the birthday greeting was sent and that Trump would be happy to do so again.

A lawyer for Epstein, Robert Buschel, has denied that his client has any ties to the Republican Party and said that Epstein is focused on finishing his sentence in the New York City jail where he is being held.
