Hongkongers squawk-off in city's first bird call contest

The Hong Kong Bird Watching Society hosted its first-ever bird call contest

With the aim to promote conservation awareness, bird fanatics dressed up and took to the stage to mimic the rhythmic calls of several species.

Impressively, Bob Chan won the top prize for his impression of a Eurasian tree sparrow out of 580 recorded bird species in Hong Kong.
