Lisbon's funicular commute took my friend's life. I missed the accident, but saw the EMTs carry the stretcher with her motionless body out of the tram. I will never forget the sight of emergency personnel attempting to revive her. The authorities are investigating the cause of the crash. I am devastated and angered by this tragic event. My heart goes out to all those affected by this tragedy.
