Indian Farmer Gives Up Home for Children to Have School
A Heartwarming Act of Charity in India
It was a touching sight when Bhagwan Singh, a farmer in Rajasthan, India, surrendered the deed to his home so the village children could have a place to study. Thanks to his selfless gesture, the village will now have a school and the children no longer have to travel long distances to receive an education.

With a TLA grant and a partnership with the MSIL, the local government was able to raise the funds needed to build the school in Ghanerao, Rajasthan. The joyous occasion was attended by PM Narendra Modi and MSIL MD & CEO Kenichi Ayukawa.
