North Korea's Kim Leaves for China in Armoured Train
Once Again, the enigmatic leader embarks on a mysterious rail journey
North Korean leader Kim Jong-un's latest visit to China is underway, with his armored train departing from Pyongyang Railway Station on September 1st.
The train is believed to be bound for Dandong, a Chinese city on the North Korean border,; however, the purpose of the trip and any potential meetings with Chinese leaders remain unknown, as per usual.
After decades of tight-lipped secrecy, speculation has once again been stirred regarding the nature of these secretive rail voyages and what they may signify for the Hermit Kingdom and its enigmatic leader.
