Watch: JD Vance Heckled by Protesters at DC Meeting with National Guard Troops
US Vice-President JD Vance has faced criticism from protesters as he met with National Guard troops in Washington DC alongside other senior members of the Trump administration, including Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth and White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller.
The President Trump deployed the National Guard to the capital on to address crime and homelessness. However, protesters screamed at Vance and company to leave the city, with some shouting Free DC and Free Palestine.
